The Power of Portion Control

These days we seem to live to excess. This lifestyle seems to have even filtered down to our eating habits with it common place for restaurants and fast food chains to serve up single meals that could satisfy up to 2 or 3 people! The good news is that achieving correct portion control isn’t as hard as you may think. Why not try out some of these ideas to help prevent over eating and maintain a balanced diet:
  • Multi bags are a great way of allowing yourself treats in moderation
  • Resist the “upsize” option when ordering out
  • Keep hunger at bay by eating a number of smaller meals throughout the day
  • Fibrous and low GI foods are a great way to satisfy for longer
