Gordon Churchill Davies

He is a past director of The National Trading Company of New Zealand, the property development and owning subsidiary company of Foodstuffs (Auckland) Ltd which also owns the wholesale cash and carry operation ‘Gilmours'. As well as his extensive property experience, Mr Davies has also been trained in retail management and market research in the United Kingdom.

He is a past-president of The Property & Land Economy Institute of New Zealand, a Fellow and Life member of the New Zealand Property Institute. Mr Davies was also the Chairman of the Massey University Property Foundation.
 

John Lyndon Stone

Mr Stone was appointed as a Director of USSL, and as Deputy Chairman, upon its incorporation. Prior to entering retail, Mr Stone had 12 years in the Finance industry with General Motors Acceptance Corporation and Ford Credit Australia Limited.

Mr Stone has extensive retailing experience, having owned and operated several Convenience/Supermarket outlets since 1983. He opened and operated a large fuel and food site and was a partner in a service/manufacturing business on the Gold Coast.

He was a member of the Foodstore Strategic Marketing Group for a number of years and served as a Director on the Foodstore Retail Advisory Panel.

Miles Hedge

Mr Hedge was appointed as a Director on 30 July 2007 and Chairman on 17 June 2010. Mr Hedge holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University and is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years commercial experience, initially working in the profession (Sydney, London and Jakarta) and then moving into investment banking and on to various commercial roles, including seven years as managing director of the Australasian subsidiary of a Swiss listed corporation.

Mr Hedge is a Director of Hamilton James & Bruce Group Ltd and is also a Director of a number of private companies.
