SPAR Australia Footy Frenzy Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Competition Organiser:

The promoter is SPAR Australia Limited (ABN: 69 102 281 167), located at 30 Fox Road, Acacia Ridge, QLD 4110 (“the Promoter”). ACT Permit No. TP 25/01070
 

2. Eligibility:

(a) Entry is open to residents of Queensland (QLD), New South Wales (NSW), and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) aged 18 years or older, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and any agencies or individuals directly associated with the administration of the competition.
(b) "Immediate family" includes a spouse, ex-spouse, de facto partner, child (natural or adopted), stepchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, sibling, or stepsibling.
(c) No purchase is necessary to enter.
(d) By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
(e) Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or generated by automated means will be deemed invalid.
(f) The Promoter may verify the identity and eligibility of entrants and may request proof of identification and residential address.
(g) Each person may win a maximum of one (1) daily prize and one (1) grand prize during the promotional period.

3. Competition Details:

(a) The competition begins on 28 May 2025 and ends on 24 June 2025. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
(b) The rules of the game and how to enter are as follows:

• Catch the Rugby Balls to score 1 point each.

• Avoid the Soccer Balls and Tennis Balls - if you hit 3, the game ends.

• Register your details after playing to be eligible to win a daily or grand prize.

(c) A valid entry requires the entrant to:

• Play the Footy Frenzy game; and

• Submit complete and accurate registration details, including full name, valid email address, phone number and a deliverable Australian postal address.

(d) There is no limit to how many times an entrant may play; however, only registrations with valid details will be entered into the draw.
(e) Daily prize draws will be conducted at 9:00am AEST each business day (excluding weekends and public holidays) at SPAR Australia Head Office, 30 Fox Road, Acacia Ridge QLD 4110.

• One winner from QLD and one from NSW will be randomly selected from valid entries received up to 8:59am AEST on the day of the draw.

• Entries submitted on weekends or public holidays will roll into the following Monday’s draw.

(f) The grand prize draw will take place at 9:00am AEST on 25 June 2025 at the same location, drawn from all valid entries received during the competition period.
(g) The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

4. Prizes:

Grand Prizes (Drawn 25 June 2025):

• 10 x QLD Maroons 2025 Men’s Replica Home Jerseys (RRP $180 each)

• 10 x NSW Blues 2025 Men’s Home Jerseys (RRP $160 each)
  Note: Sizes are limited and subject to availability.

Total Grand Prize Value: $3,400

Daily Prizes:

• 10 x NSW Blues 2025 35 Cap Stripe (RRP $40 each)

• 10 x QLD Maroons 2025 Player's Media Cap (RRP $50 each)

• 10 x QLD Maroons Supporter Ball (RRP $40 each)

• 10 x NSW Blues Supporter Ball (RRP $40 each)

Total Daily Prize Value: $1,700

Total Prizes: 60

Total Prize Pool Value: $5,100

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value, subject to regulatory approval if required.
 

5. Winner Notification:

(a) Daily prize winners will be drawn at 9:00am AEST each business day and notified via email on the same day as the draw.
(b) Daily prize winners will also be announced on the SPAR Australia Facebook page on the day of each draw.
(c) Grand prize winners will be drawn at 9:00am AEST on 25 June 2025 and notified via email on the same day (25 June 2025).
(d) Grand prize winners will be announced on the SPAR Australia Facebook page on 26 June 2025.
(e) Each individual may win only one daily prize and one grand prize during the promotion.
(f) If any prize remains unclaimed within twenty-one (21) days of notification, a redraw will be conducted at 9:00am AEST on 21 July 2025 at SPAR Australia Head Office, 30 Fox Road, Acacia Ridge QLD 4110. Redrawn winners will be notified by email and announced on the SPAR Australia Facebook page within three (3) business days.
(g) If a prize remains unclaimed after this period, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
 

6. Prize Delivery:

(a) All prizes will be sent via Australia Post to the postal address provided at the time of entry.
(b) The Promoter is not responsible for undelivered prizes due to incorrect or incomplete postal details. Entries with invalid addresses will be deemed ineligible.
(c) Delivery is only available within Australia.
 

7. Liability:

(a) The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in the competition or using a prize, except where required by law.
(b) The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures or third-party platform issues that may affect entry or gameplay.
(c) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any circumstance beyond its control.
 

8. Privacy:

(a) Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the SPAR Australia Privacy Policy, available at https://www.spar.com.au/term.
(b) Entrants’ details will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, unless required by law.
(c) By entering, winners consent to their name and/or image being used in promotional material related to the competition.
 

9. General:

(a) The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
(b) All decisions by the Promoter are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
(c) These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the state or territory of the entrant’s residence.
